On Monday 17th October. We saw our biggest increase in service users to date. We put parcels together for 95 people which emptied our freshly stocked supply. The current inflation rates are leaving people worried and scared of where their next meal is coming from. Many people are telling us that they are choosing between heating and eating. It is really upsetting. We are concerned for how long we can maintain our services with the growing number of people in need. A Facebook plea directing people to GoFundMe has seen members of the public getting behind us to help support our local community. For that we are eternally grateful for. However as positive as we would like to be we know these funds will quickly be swallowed up so we have to keep this plea going.
